DIY Chalkboard Birthday Sign : Tutorial and FREE Printable

BIRTHDAY SIGN

Hi Friends!

OMG ! Its been long time since i blogged. I have a good reason for that, i was busy with my son's first birthday party preparation. Its really unbelievable how my baby grew up to a little man in a blink of an eye ! Ok now its time to move on to the tutorial.
To begin you need a software called Adobe Photoshop. Download the chalkboard background below, which you can use as a base for your Chalkboard Birthday Sign. I got this background by a random search in google.

Chalkboard Background

Its time to download some cool chalkboard fonts, which you can download from www.dafont.com. Some of my favorite fonts are:
Return to Sender
Chalk-hand-lettering shaded
Grutch Shaded
Road Movie
Sketch Block
Chalkline Outline
Bergamot Ornaments

Now type your cool fonts on the chalkboard background in Photoshop. You can change the colour, size and font types according to your need. It all depends on your creativity. You can create chalkboard signs for any occasion. I created a chalkboard printable for my son's birthday. I am happy the way it turned out.

DIY Eco Earring and Pendant Set from Newspaper

Hi friends ! Today i am going to post my very first DIY project ! Wondering what is the base of this project ?
Hmm, yes it is newspaper.

Paper quilling is an art which requires very little expense. I have not used any quilling tools or paper quilling strips, its all handmade. It means no spending of money for this project.

The advantage in paper quilling is that with just with a piece of paper you can make elaborate deigns. It all depends on your creativity and patience.

These umbrella shaped earrings are called ''jhumka'' in India and they are very popular in Indian culture. Nowadays they are very trendy.

I just wanted to give a try to paper quilling jewellery. I am not a pro, so kindly apologize, if you find any mistakes.

After making this jewellery , i have fallen in love with paper quilling. I promise I will come up with more projects involving paper quilling, ofcourse with a tutorial.
Please feel free to leave a comment and share it if you like this project.

Happy crafting !
